Benefits of Beeswax

What is Beeswax?
Beeswax is produced by the youngest honeybees in the hive. They produce it by using the tiny wax scales on the underside of their abdomen. Within the hives, the bees use the wax to create the stunning hexagonal comb to store the honey and pollen, and to allow the Queen to lay her many many eggs.

Natural

Our Beeswax candles are all natural therefore no toxic chemicals are used.

The scent is natural without producing any air pollutants.

Beeswax candles are natural air purifiers: anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, anti-microbial, therefore these candles can help to clean the air.

Sustainable

Bees are amazing natural pollinators that support the growth of flowers, crops and vegetation.

When you buy Beeswax candles and products, you're helping to support the bees' growth, and helping us (beekeepers) to continue supporting them.

Ray of light

When you use a Beeswax candle, the flame gives off a natural light that is in the same spectrum as the sun.

These flames actually glow, which produces warmth and a lovely softness to the room it is in.

Clean

Beeswax candles are soot free and drip-less.

Using a Beeswax candles helps to clean your air. They do this by releasing negative ions which then bind with toxins in order to remove them.

As Beeswax is dense and has a higher melting point, they therefore have a longer burn time.

This said, remember your candle care and don't burn for longer than 4 hours at a time.
